Sand Volleyball Leagues

 It's time to start thinking about this summer. To all of our players this year... Thank you! On behalf of all the staff, owners, and refs, we had a blast!

The summer 2010 season will start Sunday, May 2nd and end on Sunday, August 29th; with matches played Sundays through Thursdays at 6:30, 7:30, 8:30, and 9:30 PM. All team spots will be confirmed on a first-pay basis. The team cost for the 16 week season is $350.00 (tax is included).

One major change to our league format includes an intermediate level league to help balance out the level of competition. Sunday will consist of eight Recreational and sixteen Level (1) and (2) Intermediate teams. Monday through Thursday will have eight Recreational, eight Intermediate, and eight Power teams. Teams will be slotted based on choice, availability, and prior year's standings. There has also been some interest in Men's and Women's (4's) on Friday nights.

All 2009 teams will have a grace period until February 28, 2010 to sign up. Team captains will receive a courtesy call or email around January 10th as a reminder (after all, who's thinking about volleyball at Christmas when it's 20 below?... except us!). Every effort will be made to notify your team, but after March 1st all open spots are fair game. Please keep in mind there are numerous teams waiting for spots to open, and current teams that want to switch days or competition level, so get your entry form in early. Sounds like a sales pitch, doesn't it?
